Omid A. Khorram, MD, is a Professor in Residence of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCLA and director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
Dr. Khorram completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of California, Berkeley. He continued his studies at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School where he obtained a Ph.D. in Physiology. He received the Nominata Award at the University of Texas for the most outstanding graduate student. After one year of postdoctoral studies, he continued his education at Texas Tech School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas where he received a Doctor of Medicine with honors in 1989. Dr. Khorram completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California at San Francisco in 1993, and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California at San Diego.
Following his fellowship, Dr. Khorram became a faculty member of the University of Wisconsin in Madison where he was promoted to associate professor and the director of Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. Khorram helped establish one of the most successful ART programs in the Midwest and was named the best infertility specialist by his peers in Madison. Dr. Khorram moved to California in 2000 and assumed the position of Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.
From 2000-2006, he provided fertility care through the Harbor-UCLA Faculty Practice Plan. In 2006 he established the University Fertility Center and University Fertility Laboratory, a free-standing center providing comprehensive, world-class fertility services including artificial insemination, In vitro Fertilization, ICSI, donor egg IVF, surrogacy, donor embryos, oocyte and embryo cryopreservation and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis and screening.
Dr. Khorram is an active investigator who authored over 80 original research publications in peer-reviewed journals. He’s earned several awards including the Sigma Xi award for research, the Berlex Scholar Award, the Ortho ACOG award, the James Kennedy Award, and the Ames Broen Award for teaching. His research has been supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the American Heart Association.
His clinical interests are in Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), recurrent pregnancy loss, endometriosis, and polycystic ovary syndrome. He has special expertise in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic techniques and microsurgery. Dr. Khorram is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Khorram is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

Dr. Yufen Xie is a certified High-complexity Clinical Laboratory Director at Incinta Fertility Center. She is responsible for laboratory design, protocol/procedure implementation, as well as staff training and ongoing quality control monitoring for the Embryology and Andrology laboratories. Her greatest desire is to help people achieve their dream of having healthy children.
Dr. Xie received her medical degree (M.D) and completed her OB/GYN residency at the Zhong Shan University School of Medicine in China, followed by her PhD degree in Medical Genetics at Essen University School of Medicine in Germany. Dr. Xie completed her postdoctoral Fellowship in the reproductive and developmental research laboratory at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit Michigan.
Dr. Xie has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles, edited and authored several book chapters and contributed to various other publications within the field of assisted reproduction. Her primary research interests include pursuit of methods to reduce stress during embryonic development. Dr. Xie is a member of the American Association of Bioanalysis and American Society for Reproductive Medicine.
Lily Hao, MSN, WHNP, is a dedicated Director of Nursing with over eight years of experience in healthcare and clinical practice. She holds a master’s degree in nursing and is a National Certification Corporation board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Committed to empowering women, Lily fosters open communication and supportive relationships with patients. She also implemented innovative programs that enhance clinical outcomes and staff development.
Raquel knows that the retrieval room can be an intimating environment. As such, she makes sure that her clients feel as comfortable as possible while overseeing the coordination of the surgical team. Clients appreciate her empathic and even-tempered approach. Though on her personal time she’s an avid football fan (Go Steelers!) and has fun camping with her three daughters.
