Omid A. Khorram, MD

Reproductive Endocrinologist & Infertility

Omid A. Khorram, MD, is a Professor in Residence of Obstetrics and Gynecology at UCLA and director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

Dr. Khorram completed his undergraduate degree in Biochemistry at the University of California, Berkeley. He continued his studies at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical School where he obtained a Ph.D. in Physiology. He received the Nominata Award at the University of Texas for the most outstanding graduate student. After one year of postdoctoral studies, he continued his education at Texas Tech School of Medicine in Lubbock, Texas where he received a Doctor of Medicine with honors in 1989. Dr. Khorram completed his internship and residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of California at San Francisco in 1993, and a fellowship in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at the University of California at San Diego.
Following his fellowship, Dr. Khorram became a faculty member of the University of Wisconsin in Madison where he was promoted to associate professor and the director of Reproductive Endocrinology. Dr. Khorram helped establish one of the most successful ART programs in the Midwest and was named the best infertility specialist by his peers in Madison. Dr. Khorram moved to California in 2000 and assumed the position of Director of Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at Harbor-UCLA Medical Center.

From 2000-2006, he provided fertility care through the Harbor-UCLA Faculty Practice Plan. In 2006 he established the University Fertility Center and University Fertility Laboratory, a free-standing center providing comprehensive, world-class fertility services including artificial insemination, In vitro Fertilization, ICSI, donor egg IVF, surrogacy, donor embryos, oocyte and embryo cryopreservation and pre-implantation genetic diagnosis and screening.

Dr. Khorram is an active investigator who authored over 80 original research publications in peer-reviewed journals. He’s earned several awards including the Sigma Xi award for research, the Berlex Scholar Award, the Ortho ACOG award, the James Kennedy Award, and the Ames Broen Award for teaching. His research has been supported by the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and the American Heart Association.
His clinical interests are in Assisted Reproductive Technologies (ART), recurrent pregnancy loss, endometriosis, and polycystic ovary syndrome. He has special expertise in advanced laparoscopic and hysteroscopic techniques and microsurgery. Dr. Khorram is board-certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. Dr. Khorram is a fellow of the American College of Obstetricians and Gynecologists.

When I'm not at work, I love staying active through workouts and hikes, and there's nothing better than unwinding by the beach. I relax and recharge on the weekends, especially when I'm surrounded by my loved ones. This balance between work and personal life keeps me energized and ready to provide the best care possible.

DR. OMID KHORRAM, M.D., PH.D.

Prior to relocation to Cali-fornia he was the director of division of Reproductive Endocrinology at the Universityof Wisconsin in Madison. Hyang (Hailey) Park, M.S.

IVF Laboratory Supervisor

Hyang (Hailey) Park, MS is an IVF Laboratory Supervisor at Incinta Fertility Center. She is responsible for overseeing daily operations of the embryology and andrology laboratories, including blastocyst vitrification, oocyte vitrification, ICSI, and embryo biopsies. She received her MS degree in Biotechnology from the university of Daegu in Korea, and has been involved in human-assisted reproductive technologies since 2000. She was trained and served as an embryologist at CHA Global Organization until 2012. She brings experience, quality, and knowledge to Incinta Fertility Center’s embryology laboratory. She recognizes that she is blessed to have such a wonderful specialty that helps people realize their dream of having a beautiful family. She is a member of the American Association of Bioanalysis and the American Society for Reproductive Medicine.

Yufen Xie, PhD, ELD (ABB), HCLD(ABB)

IVF Laboratory Director

Dr. Yufen Xie is a certified High-complexity Clinical Laboratory Director at Incinta Fertility Center. She is responsible for laboratory design, protocol/procedure implementation, as well as staff training and ongoing quality control monitoring for the Embryology and Andrology laboratories. Her greatest desire is to help people achieve their dream of having healthy children.
Dr. Xie received her medical degree (M.D) and completed her OB/GYN residency at the Zhong Shan University School of Medicine in China, followed by her PhD degree in Medical Genetics at Essen University School of Medicine in Germany. Dr. Xie completed her postdoctoral Fellowship in the reproductive and developmental research laboratory at the Wayne State University School of Medicine in Detroit Michigan.
Dr. Xie has published over 30 peer-reviewed articles, edited and authored several book chapters and contributed to various other publications within the field of assisted reproduction. Her primary research interests include pursuit of methods to reduce stress during embryonic development. Dr. Xie is a member of the American Association of Bioanalysis and American Society for Reproductive Medicine.

Lily Hao, RN, BSN,

Nurse Manager

Lily Hao, RN, BSN, is a dedicated Director of Nursing with over eight years of experience in healthcare and clinical practice. She holds a master’s degree in nursing and is a National Certification Corporation board-certified Women's Health Nurse Practitioner. Committed to empowering women, Lily fosters open communication and supportive relationships with patients. She also implemented innovative programs that enhance clinical outcomes and staff development.

Sonny Stetson, ABSA

International Medical & Scientific Director

Dr. Stetson is deeply committed to providing a compassionate and respectful environment for patients. "I work with each patient individually to help them begin the treatment plan that will best and most effectively address their individual needs and circumstances. As a father, who has been blessed with 2 beautiful children and losing another, I can relate to the happiness and sadness of parenthood".Dr. Sonny J. Stetson is dedicated to providing patients with the best possible care when struggling with infertility. He takes pride in his professional career, unremitting medical education, and personal achievements that have positioned him as the International Medical & Scientific Director at the Incinta Fertility Center.

Dr. Alice Park, MD

Reproductive Endocrinologist & Infertility

Dr. Park, MD is a practicing Fertility Specialist with Incinta Fertility Center. She attended MIT for her undergraduate studies in both Biology and Materials Science Engineering. After Doctor Park graduated from University of Texas Southwestern Medical School for her medical degree and continued her residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Beth Israel Hospital in New York, she then completed her fellowship training in Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility at UC San Diego.
Her passion is teaching and she has won many teaching awards throughout her educational career. Her interests include Polycystic Ovary Syndrome, Diminished Ovarian Reserve, and Oncofertility. She is board certified in both Obstetrics and Gynecology and Reproductive Endocrinology and Infertility. In addition to English, Dr. Park’s practice supports these languages: Spanish and Korean.

Yanhong Hao MS. Ph D.

Embryologist

Dr. Yanhong Hao received her PhD degree in Cell Developmental Biology from Northeast Agricultural University, and she earned her master’s degree in mammalian Embryology from China Agricultural University, her study has been focused on the cell/egg membrane molecular biology. After graduation Dr. Hao obtained her postdoc training at University of Missouri, she studied on the cutting edge of egg physiology and early embryo development, and successful produced the cloned piglets by somatic cell nuclear transfer technique. Dr. Hao brings years of experience in the IVF laboratory. She is a member of ASRM and a member of ABB.

Zhihong Yang, D.V.M., MSc., Ph.D.

IVF Laboratory Manager

Dr. Yang is one of the most respected experts in pre-implantation genetic screening research in the world. Dr. Yang has been a professor and director of IVF techniques and laboratories for more than twenty years. In addition, he is the pioneer of clinical studies in PGT-A and Time-lapse and has published his research in conferences and journals. Dr Yang is Co-Founder and Secretary General International Society of Reproductive Genetics (ISRG) and Chairman of Membership Commitee Pre-implantation Genetic Diagnosis International Society (PGDIS).

Raquel De La Barcena

Surgical Technologist

Raquel knows that the retrieval room can be an intimating environment. As such, she makes sure that her clients feel as comfortable as possible while overseeing the coordination of the surgical team. Clients appreciate her empathic and even-tempered approach. Though on her personal time she’s an avid football fan (Go Steelers!) and has fun camping with her three daughters.
